Hi,
a new version of my video player for STE (2.91) is available.
Now, if the sound doesn't fit into memory, the program tries to lower
the sound quality (stereo->mono, or frequency division) to play it. You
can now view larger animations.
When converting a PC movie AVI/MOV to Atari FLM, a new dialog box
appears allowing you to select the image rate you want from the original
(from 1/8 to 8/8) and if you want to reduce sound.
This helps you adapt your FLM to your own configuration regarding the
speed of your disk, the speed of your processor (8/16MHz), and your RAM.
Everything on this page:
http://gtello.pagesperso-orange.fr/mpste_e.htm
And, particularly, the new features:
http://gtello.pagesperso-orange.fr/mpste_e.htm#flmopt
You may know "GOODTIME.AVI" a musical clip that could be found on the
Windows95 CD ROM some years ago. I could convert is succesfully to FLM
with a good synchro.
Guillaume.
