Discussion:
Wanted LOOK2_UK.LZH

I finally got what I wanted on my TT030 SCSI bus. It should not be
difficult, but I used a bus extender from Granite Digital, with input
connector terminated and output connector not terminated (which seems to
be important) and now have one CD/DVD box, one tape backup box, one ZIP
drive, and one Epson 1200S scanner.

As a matter of note, I once had a fuller SCSI bus, and do not have a clue
as to why I can't get my other ZIP mech recognized.

This is when I discovered that LOOK2_UK.PRG was munged, and its LHZ source
was too. I have spent several hours looking for another copy, without
finding it, both in my disk connection and using the wwwait.

It is the only driver for this scanner on this platform.

Does anyone have a copy they could send me?

Jim

On the MISC section of my web site is GT-Look, is that any use?

I don't recall if it's registered or what, but I have seen in work with
a SCSI scanner.

Thanks for the answer, Derryck. Your website is one of the places I
looked, and no, that is not for the kind of scanner I have.

I did page through printed out indexes to archive sites, and even typed
the file name into two search engines, before asking for help. When the
file name cannot be found, except in magazine articles about it, the file
is pretty scarce.

I did look at my mailbox, and thank you very much. Downloaded, and used,
for a particular project. I own a Minox B camera, and if you set it for 18
inches (english unit model), hold it at arms length, look into the lens,
and one gets a distorted view of oneself. Now I have that in TIF format.

Concerning NVDI, the problem might be my machine, although the only thing
that seems to be wrong is that the DMA chip is dead, so laser printer does
not work. I have no idea what NVDI does with a DMA chip, but what does not
work now worked at one time, and everything else about this machine seems
to work.

Thanks again. Scanner is a scanner again.
