I have Videlity installed on my Falcon, and it works well, giving
me up to 832 * 624 pixel resolution on my LCD VGA monitor.

Priginally it displayed a Black Scorpion logo during booting, but
it no longer does so, just a short stretch of black screen before
the desktop comes up. Doesn't worry me particularly, as long as it
isn't a forerunner of something else going wrong.

I assume the graphic comes from a ROM in the Videlity adaptor. Do
these fade in time? And is there any easy way to revive them?

My fellow Cheshunt Computer Club member Mark Branson phoned me
about this. He thinks the logo only comes up in the normal Atari
screen resolutions, not any enhanced ones. Can anyone confirm this?

(Mark can't at present post here - he receives emails and can
access usenet, but for some reason neither of his ISPs allows him
to post at present. I've suggested he contacts them to see whether
he has been blacklisted for some reason - like someone hijavcking
his account address for spamming etc.)
