Hi,

The spacebar on my Mega ST keyboard sticks sometimes on the left side. I took
it apart to clean it and of course noticed that it only has a single
centre-mounted spring. Cleaning helped but the issue is still there so I was
thinking about adding a spring on the left and right sides. Has anyone done
this?

Regards,
Doug

Hi Doug. It's not just the Mega's - every ST keyboard I've took apart has
only had a single in there. I've not had my STacy's keyboard apart though.

Whenever I've used the "TT Touch" keyboard upgrade from Best Electronics,
I always fill out the space bar on regular ST's. Makes it much more stable
IMHO.

I'd say with springs, go for it - you can always take them back out if
you don't like the way it feels or it just won't work.
